Our Vision:
Our Why:
We want all Namibians to live happy, sustainable, abundant and fulfilling lives while enhancing, not destroying, the natural world.
Our How:
We believe that people are happiest living in communities of 70-150 trusted people of similar values/culture in a clean and abundant environment.
In Namibia this can be achieved through re-wilding half of every biome and thus ensure that biodiversity is rich and ancient migration routes are re-established.
We see people living in self-determined, self-sustaining, regenerative, trusted communities both rural and urban, in tune with nature and with productive local and regional connections.
Thereby the land question as well as the equality- and poverty problems are solved for good.
And thus all Namibians live happy, sustainable, abundant and fulfilling lives while enhancing, not destroying, the natural world.
Our Mission:
Our What:
To help all Namibians leapfrog the pitfalls of modern development by upgrading traditional villages and slums to a network of modern self sustaining villages in harmony with nature.
We achieve this by building a network of eco-villages, a trading co-operative, a network of tuition free farm/village/online schools and a mechanism of funding such developments.
We start by building a DAO in order to bring together people that want to help with this strategy.
Early projects include:
- Sample eco-villages
- A free online wiki with tons of information on how to grow food and build local businesses on a limited budget
- Urban garden projects
- an experimental farm where we develop food systems producing abundant food for 70 people on a water supply of only 1000L of water per hour.
- Urban revival (convert suburbs into villages)
- Yearly markets/expo’s showcasing our work and growing our network
If we can do this then we can have abundance for all of the projected 6 million Namibians we will be in 2100, without destroying our environment.
Everyone will live in a trusted community and everyone will have work…all the while we reduce the human footprint and our reliance on rain fed agriculture…which allows us to thrive even in the face of global warming.
